Volunteers Wanted!
Gift Basket Raffle
Everyone who volunteers their time at the NJ Quilt Convention 2009 has the opportunity to win a fabulous quilting gift basket filled with books, patterns, fabric, notions, batting and much more! Here is how it works, for every 2 hours of volunteer service receive one ticket in the raffle. All are welcome to volunteer!

Sit and/or Stand - Collect admission fee and attach wristbands. Hand out show programs.
Judging

Mostly Standing, move around, Assists judges in fanning quilts

Fast-paced, Moving Around - Meet the owner of the quilt at the door, Take the quilt down, confirm ownership, and escort the owner back to the check-out table.
Vendors Relief

Some Sitting, Some Standing. Provide vendors who need restroom breaks or lunch breaks. Usually 20 minutes or less during the day. Busiest time is morning break, lunch, afternoon break.
Workshops

Moving Around - Mostly needed before each class begins in the morning or afternoon. Assist the chairperson in making sure teachers have supplies for the classroom.

Mostly Standing and Moving Around - Assist chairperson working with children in making small projects by hand or machine.
